Before you connect

• ✓ You need a BuildMyPrompt account (free or paid). Your key ties the Skill to that account.
• ✓ Your Claude surface must support installing a Skill: Claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or the Claude API.
• ✓ Have your license key from the box above ready to paste into the Skill config.

Get the Claude Skill file

Download the BuildMyPrompt Skill, then install it into your Claude surface using the steps below.

Claude.ai & Claude Desktop

   Open Settings → Capabilities → Skills and choose Upload skill.

   Select the downloaded BuildMyPrompt Skill file.

   Open the downloaded skill file, paste your license key into the LICENSE_KEY line, then upload it, or upload as-is and Claude will ask you for the key the first time.

   Ask Claude to build a prompt to confirm it's working.

Claude Code

   Place the Skill file in your project's .claude/skills/ directory (or your user skills directory).

Claude API

Load the Skill into your Agent/Skills setup and provide the license key to the Skill's configured tool call. The Skill instructs Claude to call BuildMyPrompt's hosted endpoint with your key: no prompt-engineering logic ships in the file itself.
